Veterinary Surgeon – Essex / Suffolk border

Fall in love with Veterinary Medicine again. Are you a dedicated veterinary professional looking to join a team that truly values compassionate care and clinical excellence? My client has been a pillar of the community for 25 years, offering unparalleled pet care and surgical expertise. This is your chance to be part of a practice where your skills will be appreciated, and your career can flourish. Here, pets are more than just animals—they are family. The team is committed to providing the highest standards of surgical and medical care, ensuring that every pet receives the attention and treatment they deserve. From routine spaying to life-saving emergency surgeries, the experienced vets and nursing staff are equipped to handle it all. If you are passionate about veterinary medicine and want to work in an environment that prioritises both patient and client care, this is the place for you.

The role involves performing a variety of small animal surgeries and consultations and offering clear, compassionate communication with pet owners. You will join a small but perfectly formed team of two vets, RVN's and and support staff who are dedicated to excellent patient care. The ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations is essential, as the practice offers 24-hour emergency care, 365 days a year, so OOH and weekend duties are involved although these are typically quiet.

To be successful in this role, you should have a veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS and a minimum of two years’ experience in small animal practice. Strong surgical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for animal welfare are crucial.

My client offers a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners, in this stunning location. If you are ready to make a real difference in the lives of your patients and owners and join a team that values excellence and compassion, apply today.
