Night Registered Veterinary Nurse – Hospital based

The hospital itself is an RCVS accredited facility known for handling complex cases and providing extended care for patients needing detailed attention.  You will work in a state-of-the-art, fully equipped facility. The hospital features modern amenities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT, a dedicated ICU, as well as separate dog and cat kennels. With multiple large theatres, endoscopy, ventilator, cautery, and a comprehensive in-house lab, including acid-base and clotting times, you’ll have everything you need to provide top-notch care. The day team includes specialists with diverse expertise, including a surgical certificate holder and an imager, ensuring a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

This position offers you a rolling rota of 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off, with 12-hour shifts from 7:30 pm to 8 am. You’ll work alongside a dedicated night team, handling a variety of cases ranging from raisin toxicity and RTAs to splenectomies and blocked bladders.

The ideal applicants will have strong teamwork skills, be compassionate and dedicated to patient care.  You will have experience within a range of veterinary cases and be eligible to register with the RCVS.
