Registered Veterinary Nurse - Night Team at referral hospital

This multi discipline referral hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their esteemed night team. This role offers the unique chance to provide exceptional overnight care to their patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort during critical hours.

Role Responsibilities:

- Deliver bespoke care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Ensure the highest standard of care is provided consistently.
- Participate in the admission and discharge process of patients.
- Administer treatments and dispense medication as directed by the veterinary surgeon.
- Care for all in-patients, including pre-op, monitoring, recovery, and post-op care.
- Ensure effective stock rotation and replenishment.
- Support with reception duties and client communication as needed.
- Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of clinical areas and equipment.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including open evenings or days.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

- Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
- Passion for ward nursing and inpatient care.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient and client care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in continued professional development.
