Are you a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) seeking a role that offers flexibility, professional growth, and a supportive environment? This could be the perfect fit for you. With a competitive salary of up to £31,000 (DOE), this role provides an excellent platform for both full-time and part-time candidates, with flexible rota options available to suit your lifestyle.
Imagine working in a practice that truly values your well-being. Enjoy enhanced maternity pay and a team that prioritises your welfare. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is strongly encouraged, allowing you to expand your skills and explore specialist interests. The practice boasts an inclusive team that loves spending time together, ensuring a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Plus, you’ll never have to worry about working Sundays or out-of-hours shifts.
In this role, you’ll be part of a cohesive team of two RVNs, rotating through theatre, inpatient care, and nurse consult duties. As a training practice, there’s a strong emphasis on nurturing future talent, so you’ll also play a vital role in supporting student nurses on their placements. With a dedicated team of Receptionists managing the front desk, you can focus entirely on your nursing responsibilities. Clinical interests are not just supported but actively encouraged.
While the ideal candidate would be available for a full-time position, flexible or part-time hours can be arranged to fit your needs. Saturdays are on a manageable 1 in 4 rota basis, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
The practice, independently run for over a decade, is located on the south side of Glasgow. It’s well-equipped with a theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laboratory facilities, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and isolation cases. The location is convenient, with excellent transport links and a variety of local amenities.
Benefits include a competitive salary up to £31,000 pro rata, 5.6 weeks of annual leave (increasing after two years of service), an additional day off for your birthday, and no Sunday or out-of-hours work. Enhanced maternity pay, a relocation package, a contributory pension scheme, CPD allowance, paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, etc.), and exclusive company discounts are also part of the package.
If you’re a passionate, positive, and progressive Nurse eager to deliver great nursing care, this role could be your next career move.
