This full-time role is tailored for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who is looking for a dynamic position within a general practice setting.

Our clients practice is an example of excellence in veterinary care, boasting state-of-the-art facilities including laparoscopy, ultrasound, dental X-rays, IDEXX labs, and endoscopy. With a team of six full-time vets, some with specialisms in ophthalmology and cardiology, the practice is a hub for local referrals meaning anyone coming into the practice will have a wealth of experience and knowledge to learn and benefit from.  The practice also welcomes visiting surgeons specialising in orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue procedures allowing them to offer their clients more advanced surgery and care in house.

The practice offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum for a 40-hour week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on shift and no out-of-hours or on-call duties, offering a rota that truly preserves your work-life balance.

The successful candidate will be an RVN who is passionate about animal health, with the ability to perform under pressure and maintain a customer service ethos. Responsibilities will encompass a range of nursing duties, from anaesthetic preparation and monitoring to conducting diagnostic tests and providing inpatient care. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the ability to foster relationships with pet owners through regular nurse clinics. Additionally, the role involves mentoring student veterinary nurses and upholding the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the practice.
