Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Vet to join our client’s clinical team and help them continue to provide the pets of West Yorkshire with exceptional veterinary care.

Our clients are a multisite RCVS accredited practice, with additional Silver Cat Friendly accreditations from ISFM and a vast and varied caseload.  The practice is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including top of the range ultrasound scanner and radiography, CT scanner and in house lab. They have a dedicated out of hours team and excellent opportunities for growth and career progression both clinically and in leadership depending on your focus and specific interests.

The role itself is full time, permanent working a 40hr week with no out of hours and 1 in 4 weekends (days only), with part time considered for the right candidate.  Applicants should be hard working and passionate about general practice.  You should be able to work confidently sole charge and work well as part of a team, with great communication skills both verbal and written.  As this role can be moulded to suit you with more consultations, surgery and/or medical work depending on your interests, our clients are looking for a vet who is excited about their future and building on their skills and knowledge at every opportunity and are excited to help you build the career you want long term.

Surrounded by stunning country parks and rivers as well as the busy hustle and bustle of historic towns and cities, our clients practice is based in West Yorkshire, right in the centre of the UK.  From here you will have excellent access to all major motorways north and south, fantastic train links and are just over an hour from Leeds Bradford Airport.  The practice also offers onsite parking and has bus routes right on the doorstep for those commuting.
