Join a dedicated and close-knit team where collaboration and professional growth are at the forefront. You will work alongside an experienced Clinical Director, two other vets, four Registered Veterinary Nurses, two student nurses, three Veterinary Care Assistants, and a supportive client care team.

This full-time role offers a balanced work schedule with weekends on a fair rota basis (1:4 weekends), ensuring no on-call, bank holidays, or out-of-hours requirements. Flexible working arrangements are available, and part-time hours can be discussed to suit your needs. Confidence in handling routine surgical and medical cases, as well as comfort with sole charge, is essential.

They are committed to your professional development. Whether you aim to pursue a postgraduate qualification or a specialised certificate, support will be provided to help you achieve your career goals. The practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment, catering to a loyal and expanding client base with a varied caseload, ensuring the best possible clinical standards and client care.

Located in the historic market town in Essex, the practice is conveniently situated between Chelmsford and Southend-on-Sea, just 32 miles east of central London. With easy access to the high street and the train station (offering a 40-minute journey to London Liverpool Street), and ample free parking, commuting is hassle-free. The area boasts excellent transport links, proximity to international airports, and fantastic shopping at Bluewater and Lakeside.

This location offers the perfect blend of city excitement and serene countryside, with the Essex coastline providing ample opportunities for relaxation and exploration. A competitive salary of up to £65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package (including pension, healthcare, paid memberships, career progression, exclusive discounts, and relocation support) are all part of the package. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.

This employer values diversity and inclusion, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds. If you share a passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you. Embrace the chance to be part of a team where everyone is valued and differences are celebrated.
