Our clients are currently looking for a friendly and driven Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice team on a full time, permanent basis. All applicants should have excellent communication skills, be confident communicating with both clients and clinical team members and be keen to grow and continue to learn year on year. You will enjoy being part of a team but also thrive when working sole charge.
Applicants should have some experience working in practice and ideally have a keen interest in imaging and/or small animal medicine. You will be confident in your abilities, focused and passionate about your role and always maintaining a high standard of care.
The practice itself provides first opinion care for the local community and is well equipped with advanced digital x-ray, ultrasound, operating theatres, prep area, separate ward/kennel areas and in-house laboratory. They are also linked with the local 24hr emergency hospital to offer out of hours care, CT scanner, orthopaedic surgery and more critical procedures for your patients. The practice offers numerous parking spaces for those who drive and is just a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station for those using public transport to commute. It is also under 1 hour from the M6 for travel North and South throughout the UK and just 40 minutes from Liverpool airport.
Based just outside Liverpool from here you can enjoy the benefits of city life, the entertainment, socialising and exploring the history one day, then take a 15 minute drive from the practice the next to relax by the seaside with the sea breeze in your hair on the stunning west coast.
