Veterinary Surgeon – Imaging Focus

Our client is a well-established and progressive, independent, multi-branch veterinary practice based on the edge of Leicestershire. The team is dedicated to always providing high-quality care and a compassionate service to their clients and their beloved pets. With state-of-the-art facilities and a skilled team of professionals, they strive to exceed expectations in veterinary medicine.

They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a specialisation or particular interest in diagnostic imaging to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent diagnostic skills, and proficiency in various imaging modalities.

This role offers full-time, permanent employment.  You will initially be based between two branch surgeries collaborating with a highly skilled clinical team, managing cases, caring for inpatients, and fostering strong connections with clients and the referral practice team.  You will have a varied caseload and be able to focus on imaging wherever possible as there is currently a good demand for imaging throughout the day.  As the practice team they are proud to rarely refer out of practice and the long-term goal is to offer referral imaging services for all 6 branch practices at one base practice with a purpose-built imaging room.
Our clients actively support their team’s growth, providing ample CPD opportunities, including a generous annual CPD allowance, in-house training, and openly encourage further certification. 

Based just 1 hour from Birmingham Airport and just over an hour from the city centre you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the old market towns, architecture and history Leicestershire has to offer as well as the hustle and bustle of Birmingham city centre outside of work.  Alternatively, if you love to explore in your leisure time, you can easily travel throughout the UK and further afield, with easy access to excellent public transport and the major UK motorways both north and south.

Benefits:
•    Annual salary of £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
