Veterinary Surgeon - Permanent Weekend Only

Whether you are an experienced veterinary surgeon or a new graduate just finding your feet, this role will adapt and evolve to suit you and the practice team will continue to provide you with the support and training you need to constantly improve your skills and knowledge.   

Our clients are a progressive Independent veterinary practice based in Lincolnshire, who inspire to bring the best out of their team, with daily support and encouragement.  By actively encouraging CPD and stimulating the minds of their team with regular lunch and learn training sessions and conferences. The practice is currently looking for a friendly and motivated veterinary surgeon to join their hardworking team to help cover weekends and support the clinical team overall.  

The role is permanent, working 2 weekends a month, Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 7pm, with no out of hours or week day shifts.  Applicants should ideally be enthusiastic and motivated to learn new skills and techniques and stretch themselves to constantly improve.  You will be confident working sole charge and be able to communicate well with both clients and other team members.  

The current team are a mix of experienced vets with further interests and qualifications in orthopaedics, feline medicine, dentistry, emergency medicine and imaging.  The practice is open and caring for patients 24/7 including emergency and inpatient care, which allows for excellent continuity of care and overall patient care.  It is newly refurbished and set up with all the equipment and facilities you could require, including a specific euthanasia room, separate dog and cat wards, heated ICU kennels, new ultrasound machine, full inhouse Idexx laboratory and digital microscope. 

The practice is fortunate to have the stunning Lincolnshire countryside on its doorstep, with incredible country walks and coastal seaside to explore just 30 minutes away and is easily accessible by bus or car, with plenty of parking onsite.

Benefits:
•    Annual salary of £40,000 to £70,000 depending on experience (pro-rata)
