Role Responsibilities
In this sole charge GP first opinion role, your day will be varied and engaging. Morning consultations will be followed by routine surgeries, with evening consultations rounding off your day. You will be fully supported by a dedicated team, including long-standing members Dawn and Alison, who bring over 20 years of experience and pride in the practice's stellar reputation.
Further support is provided by a dedicated regional manager and head vet, ensuring you have the clinical backing you need. Your full-time hours include a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, along with up to 2 bank holidays per year at their local Hospital facility, with time off in lieu.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
Though the role is sole charge, you will have the backing of the 24-hour Hospital, just a 10-minute drive away. The hospital boasts state-of-the-art diagnostic support, including a new CT scanner, and a team of specialists in imaging, orthopaedics, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery.
