Established over 100 years ago, they are a small animal primary care practice with locations in the charming market towns of Staffordshire and Warwickshire, just a 15-minute drive from Birmingham. The practice prides itself on a closely-knit, supportive team, many of whom boast over 20 years of service. The team comprises 9 Veterinary Surgeons with specialisations in Ophthalmology, surgery, and emergency and critical care (ECC). Professional development is highly valued and actively encouraged.

This clinical team handles a diverse caseload, from routine to advanced primary care services including orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, soft tissue surgery, and more. Both practices are well-equipped with Digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, electrocautery, cryotherapy, and much more. Primarily caring for cats and dogs, the occasional small furry or chicken ensures no two days are the same.

**Job Type:** Permanent, Full-time

**Hours:** 40 hours per week, over 4 days, with 1:6 Saturdays 8:30am-1pm, and 1:6 Saturdays 8:30am-5pm. No OOH.

The current Clinical Director is transitioning to a part-time role, creating a unique chance for a friendly and enthusiastic leader to guide this exceptional team.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As Clinical Director, you will oversee the leadership of the practices, driving clinical services, commercial performance, and team development. Your passion for delivering top-tier service and outcomes for patients, clients, and associates will be paramount.

Your role here will be dynamic and fulfilling. You will manage the lead vets and senior leadership team, engage in a mix of in-patient care, surgery, and consultations, and have the chance for case continuity and building strong client relationships. Support for specific interests is encouraged, especially if you are working towards or hold a certificate relevant to small animal primary care practice.
