Opportunity for a recently-graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join this longstanding community practice.
Support can be offered by the owners to develop your skills quickly in soft tissue surgery or orthopaedics. Equally there is great experience in the team in medicine. As a commitment to personal development, everyone in the practice has a voice and freedom to shape the care provided to patients. This culture of involvement and trust is enjoyed by 4 vet surgeons, 5 RVNs and a support team.
The purpose-built practice is RCVS accredited and operates to Gold ISFM cat-friendly standard.
This is a full-time role, with weekend worked on a 1:4 basis. There is no OOH requirement, so when you are finished for the day you are always able to rest and recharge.
To allow people to create a work life balance that suits them, part time options will also be considered.
The management team believe in everyone achieving their goals, so ensure clinical independence and encourage all CPD. Certificates can also be supported.
You will ideally share the team's high standards and new ideas and ambition is most welcome in a team always looking for ways to improve. As a practice, they believe in treating everyone equally and creating a supportive non-judgement environment.
Close to the Peak District for access to countryside walks and outdoor activities, the practice also benefits from good transport links into Sheffield city centre. Accommodation costs here are around 60% cheaper than London, making it a great option for those at the beginning of their careers.
You must be eligible to register with the RCVS to be considered for this position. Visa sponsorship will be considered for overseas applicants.
