Imagine working in a newly refurbished and extended practice, complete with a modern reception area, six consultation rooms, dedicated cat and dog wards, a dual operating theatre, and a spacious back office. The practice is a vibrant, supportive environment where your professional growth is encouraged and supported.
The team is a large, friendly, and cohesive unit, led by the Head Nurse and Practice Owner. The team includes six full-time RVNs, five Veterinary Care Assistants, eight Vets, and five Receptionists. As part of the nursing team, you will be involved in all aspects of nursing care, rotating between theatre, clinics, hospital, prep, and nurse schedule three procedures. Nurses are utilised to their fullest potential and are trained to perform schedule three surgical procedures, including stitch-ups and lump removals. Final-year Student Veterinary Nurses and newly qualified Nurses are encouraged to apply, with a named mentor provided for clinical support.
