This practice is a multiple award-winning site under the Practice Standard Scheme, with RCVS accreditation and is a silver accredited cat friendly status and RWAF accredited. They are a modern, purpose-built practice with digital x-ray, blood pressure monitoring, full in-house lab, brand new ultrasound machine with cardiac probes, tonopen, separate dog, cats and exotics kennel wards and fully equipped operating theatre.
You will be supported by a very experienced nursing team. Their nurses are equipped and enabled to do all the work you don’t have too, allowing you to concentrate on providing the highest level of veterinary care. The veterinary team consists of 5 Vets, 5 RVN's and 1 SVN and 2 ANA's and support staff including receptionists. You will support the practice owner who is non clinical but has many years of experience in running veterinary practices prior to opening this practice. You will support him in providing clinical leadership to their vets and working alongside the existing leadership team to enhance a productive and positive working environment and culture. They know how important work life balance is so we offer this role with a flexible rota if desired, as well as 15-minute consults as standard with “dedicated and protected admin time” built into the diary for your telephone calls etc.
They are seeking an experienced team player, who will be enthusiastic and self-motivated. You will have great communication, general surgical and medical skills and a desire to support and develop others.
On joining the team you can expect to receive the following package: Salary of £55,000 to £70,000 commensurate with experience, 37.5 hours per week, 6.6 weeks holiday, Private Health Cover, Enhanced sick leave pay, Life Assurance 4 x Annual Salary, Contributory Pension Scheme, Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS), Dedicated and generous CPD allowance including 5 paid days to attend as a minimum, Funding and support towards Certificates available, Flexible working hours if required, Full time is a four day week, 1 in 5 weekends which are inclusive of your 37.5 hours.
