Currently searching for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to spearhead their dynamic team, this well-established practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, and a dedicated operating theatre, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Nestled in a picturesque area, the practice benefits from a loyal clientele and a vibrant high street, providing an enviable work setting. As the new Lead Veterinary Surgeon, one will delve into a variety of cases, from routine to complex, encompassing GP level surgery, dentistry, and imaging. The role promises an engaging environment where clinical excellence and client satisfaction are at the forefront.
The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn and contribute to the team's success. Leadership qualities are paramount, as is the drive to nurture and expand the practice while forging strong bonds with the client base. The role also involves mentoring an associate veterinary surgeon, thus shaping the future of the practice.
Independent consulting prowess, a methodical approach to case management, and proficiency in surgical and dentistry skills are essential. The practice is part of a supportive network, including local branches and specialist referral practice, offering access to a CT machine and specialists in various fields for complex cases requiring advanced care.
This role is accompanied by an attractive rota, ensuring a harmonious work-life balance with a 4 or 5 day work week and participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning schedule.
