Elevate your veterinary career amidst the scenic beauty of Berkshire, where the wellbeing of their dedicated team is the cornerstone of our client’s state-of-the-art veterinary hospital. Embrace the chance to provide unparalleled care to animals in need during the critical after-hours period, as a Part-Time Out of Hours Vet.

This practice is synonymous with excellence in animal care, offering a harmonious environment where each team member's happiness is paramount. The practice prides itself on a culture that fosters team unity, efficiency, and a commendable work-life balance. The philosophy is simple: a well-cared-for team leads to superior care for patients, clients, and the business.

Set in a picturesque Berkshire town, with a blend of historic allure and modern comforts, the practice local presents an idyllic backdrop for both personal and professional life. With London within easy reach, the town is a sanctuary for those desiring a tranquil setting without forgoing the bustling pulse of city life.

We are currently in search of a skilled and self-assured veterinary surgeon with a keen interest in emergency and critical care (ECC) to fill this role.  While specific ECC or out-of-hours experience is not mandatory, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client care is indispensable. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of an Out of Hours (OOH) Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), and the guidance of the dedicated practice manager.

The role entails 6 to 7 OOH shifts per month, allowing for ample time to make the most of life outside of work.  This position is not just a job; it's a lifestyle choice for those who value professional fulfilment and personal wellbeing.

Candidates must be confident in their ability to work sole charge, possess excellent communication skills, and be driven to maintain the highest standards of veterinary care.

Benefits:
•    Competitive salary up to £70,000 FTE DOE
•    Generous annual CPD Budget
•    Full VISA Sponsorship
•    Relocation allowance (if applicable)
•    Professional membership fees covered
•    Pension scheme
•    Staff discount
•    Voluntary Private Medical insurance scheme
•    Maternity, Paternity & joint parental leave, including fertility & pregnancy loss policy
