Night Veterinary Surgeon –Set rota of 7 on-14 off/Great location

An exceptional role awaits an experienced Out of Hours (OOHs) Veterinary Surgeon to join the dedicated night team at our clients Tier 3 Hospital in West Yorkshire. This position offers a unique work-life balance with a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off (7pm - 8.30am), allowing ample time for personal pursuits and relaxation.
All applicants should ideally have experience in an OOHs or ECC role, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently. You should have excellent communication and teamwork abilities, along with a commitment to providing high-quality patient and client care.

What you can expect:

Join this dedicated team and you will benefit from working alongside a strong team of compassionate professionals.  The night team currently consists of a Vet, Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), and Patient Care Assistant (PCA), who work together to ensure comprehensive care for in-patients and emergency patients throughout the night. 
The practice is committed to your growth and development, so you will be encouraged and financially supported to take on opportunities for further education, including the pursuit of certificates. You will benefit from access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, such as a full imaging suite with X-ray, multiple ultrasound scanners, onsite CT, and visiting MRI. As well as four theatres with a dedicated surgical nursing team and certificate holder-led service, a dental suite with X-ray capabilities, and advanced endoscopy equipment, including laparoscopy. They also offer excellent inpatient facilities with separate wards and waiting areas for dogs, cats, exotics, seven consultation rooms and day/long stay patients, plus an ICU and onsite lab with dedicated technicians.
