Our clients practice was established over 5 years ago and since then they have created a strong team, with a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. They pride themselves on providing exceptional care and being proactive in their approach to the practice and care they provide.
This role is full time, permanent, however part time candidates will be considered and there is some flexibility in the shift pattern to fit your lifestyle. Applicants will ideally be confident working in theatre and anaesthesia, in completing consultations alone, working in the laboratory and imaging areas as well as being competent in general patient care. You will work well with others, supporting the clinical team as a whole and individually and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and the team with regards patient care, treatment plans, finances etc. You must be enthusiastic about your development and learning new skills and always work to the best of your abilities.
You will be joining a clinical team of 4 vets, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses and will be supported by an experienced reception team and practice manager. Your role will include nurse led consultations, general in-patient care and supporting in theatre and prep, with diagnostics as well as helping to manage general stock rotation and practice cleanliness.
The practice itself is well equipped for all eventualities and includes multiparameter monitors, operating theatre, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, onsite laboratory as well as individual isolation, cat, dog and exotics ward. It is ideally located just 30 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre, 1 hour from the breathtaking west coast and only 1.5hrs drive or train journey from Edinburgh city centre with great train and bus links, and car park on site.
