Join a family of 60 dedicated professionals, where the Nurse team forms the largest unit with 30 talented, hardworking, and compassionate individuals. The team is a blend of experience, from seasoned professionals with 18 years in the field to enthusiastic Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs). Managed with care and trust, support is always at hand, and career development is actively encouraged, with many of our nurses currently pursuing additional certifications.

The facilities are top-notch, featuring spacious wards and state-of-the-art equipment, including a CT scanner. Nurses at Vets enjoy a balanced rotation between ward, theatre, and consultations, ensuring a diverse and engaging caseload. The rota is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance, with a variety of shifts to suit different needs. If the standard rota doesn’t fit your lifestyle, they are open to discussing flexible arrangements.

Shifts include early (6:45 am - 3:45 pm), core (8:30 am - 5:30 pm), mid (9 am - 6 pm), and late (10 am - 7 pm). Nurses work one in five weekends, with compensatory time off before and after the weekend. Additionally, there is a night rotation, typically four nights over a ten-week period, with ample recovery time provided.

Nurses are rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include an uncapped CPD allowance, private healthcare, a day off on your birthday, pension, learning and development opportunities, monthly lucky dip, staff discounts, and more. They also offer a night shift allowance of an additional £2,000 per annum.
