Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting and varied role, where you will be actively encouraged to develop your skills and work a varied caseload alongside an enthusiastic and encouraging team? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Our clients are a well-established, community minded and progressive practice, with multiple practices throughout Fife. They are a British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) approved training practice, taking on first opinion and ophthalmology referrals and complete all of their own orthopaedic surgeries. Having personally attend this practice as a client and worked with the team in the past I have seen first hand how much they care for their patients and the expertise that they offer.
This role is full time, permanent working a 4 day week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays, no Sundays and no out of hours. Part time candidates will be considered depending on experience.
This role offers the opportunity to work in all areas of the practice with shifts in wards, theatre, radiography, consults and in the lab. Applicants will ideally be passionate and motivated to develop their skills and provide the highest level of care to their patients. You should ideally have a keen interest in supporting the training of student nurses within the team and have a strong work ethic and great communication skills, both written and verbal.
The practice itself is well equipped with brilliant facilities including digital and dental x-ray, state of the art ultrasound, endoscopy, 2 theatres and 6 consulting rooms. They have parking on site and easy access to public transport depending on whether you drive or not. You are only a stones through from Edinburgh with great train and bus links to the centre and just 10 minutes from the stunning Fife coastal path for walks and exploring the area.
Benefits:
Salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
5 weeks holiday + bank holidays & Birthday Leave
Professional Membership fees paid
Annual CPD allowance
Career progression opportunities
Staff discount
Enhanced sickness pay
Enhanced equal family leave
