Embark on a rewarding journey with this fantastic practice, nestled in a charming Norfolk village as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. This role offers a harmonious blend of professional growth and personal well-being, with a generous and comprehensive benefits package to match.
Our client's practice prides itself on a collaborative and supportive environment, where the entire team contributes to the evolution of the clinic. Ideas are not just welcomed; they are the cornerstone of the practice's continuous improvement. The focus remains steadfast on team welfare, ensuring a positive and nurturing workplace.
The clinic boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including separate wards for cats, dogs, and exotic animals, designed to minimise stress for the patients. A dedicated dental suite, an imaging room equipped with the latest digital X-ray and ultrasound technology, and a well-appointed in-house laboratory complement the three spacious consultation rooms. The waiting area is thoughtfully segmented to accommodate cats, dogs, and anxious pets, while a serene euthanasia room offers a peaceful farewell space.
The nursing team, highly skilled and engaged in furthering their qualifications, supports a range of specialist clinics. Two in-house behaviourists enhance the team, providing behaviour consultations and training sessions.
As an eco-conscious practice, they are committed to reducing their carbon footprint, employing sustainable practices such as reusable clinical charts and a compost heap. The clinic also runs a wildlife fund, reflecting its dedication to all creatures and offering a steady wildlife caseload if this is an area of interest for you.
Enjoy the benefits of a flexible working arrangement, with no out-of-hours or weekend duties. The role includes 20-minute consultations, ensuring ample time for thorough patient care, and scheduled breaks to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Administrative time is built into the day for catching up on notes and client communication, promoting a timely finish to the workday.
The location offers a delightful rural setting with convenient access to local urban amenities, a short train ride to Norwich proper, and proximity to London and coastal retreats. The practice provides accommodation and vehicle access for the first 3 months if required to help ease the transition into this new role.
Team spirit extends beyond the clinic, with a variety of social activities fostering camaraderie. With the option to bring your dog to work and enjoy nearby walking trails, this role promises a fulfilling professional life amidst a supportive and dynamic community.
