Role Overview:
Join a compassionate and skilled team at a reputable veterinary clinic, where the well-being of pets is the utmost priority. The clinic's patients include companion animals, select exotics and small furies. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of two veterinarians, four technicians, three assistants, six client care staff and a practice manager to uphold ethical practices and medical standards. The role involves working closely with clients to select the best treatment solutions for individual patients, using state-of-the-art pharmaceuticals, materials, and equipment. You'll get to practice both consulting and surgical skills every day, so this role suits all passionate general practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a diverse range of animals.
- Collaborate effectively with clients to create tailor-made health solutions for pets.
- Uphold ethical practices and medical standards.
- Share veterinary knowledge with team members.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic tools, including X-ray, ultrasound and electrocardiograms (ECG).
- Effectively and confidently perform basic soft tissue surgeries. 

Skills and Experience Required:
- Either: CVO registered, OR graduate of an AVMA accredited institution (with NAVLE), OR eligible to take the CVO jurisprudence exam
- Proven experience in veterinary care, with a focus on a variety of animals.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent client communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and a well-informed approach to veterinary medicine.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Work Schedule:
- 36-40 hours per week, including Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
- Out-of-hours services are outsourced, ensuring a balanced workload.
