An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent practice dedicated to providing high-quality first-opinion care for small animals and exotic pets. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and compassionate vet looking for clinical freedom, a varied caseload, and a supportive team environment.

The Role

  • Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule (9 AM – 6 PM)

  • No weekend or out-of-hours commitments, ensuring a great work-life balance

  • A mix of consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures across a broad range of cases

  • The opportunity to work with both small animals and exotic pets

  • Clinical freedom to make independent decisions without corporate constraints

The Ideal Candidate
The practice is looking for a veterinary professional who:

  • Enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative team environment

  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care

  • Has strong communication skills and a caring approach towards clients and their pets

  • Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and is fully registered with the RCVS

  • Has experience in clinical practice, particularly in surgical procedures. Vet GDP should be completed and sole charge experience is preferred.

  • Can work confidently under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
