This is your chance to join the largest ECC provider in London as a well-rounded, experienced GP vet with a particular interest in emergency and critical care (ECC). If you thrive in a hospital environment and are eager to be part of a dynamic team, this role is tailored for you.

What’s in it for you?

Firstly, let’s talk about the fantastic benefits. The salary for this full-time position ranges from £45,000 to £58,000, based on your experience, with ample room for growth. You’ll enjoy 6.6 weeks of annual leave, including bank holidays, ensuring you have plenty of time to recharge. Private Medical Insurance with BUPA will keep you and your family covered. We also offer up to £2,000 annually for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and up to 5 paid CPD days, so you can continue to expand your skills.

About the Role

My client is seeking a competent GP vet ready to dive into routine surgeries, including bitch spays and dentals, and manage emergency cases. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work to the highest clinical standards in a hospital that offers first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral services.

The state-of-the-art diagnostic support includes a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, and a strong medical team. You’ll have access to experienced surgeons who routinely perform advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgeries on-site.

You’ll be fully supported by a team of experienced hospital vets, including a senior medic/ECC and GP vet, an incredible nursing team of RVNs, students, nursing assistants, and a front-of-house team. On-site clinical managers are also available to ensure you have everything you need.

Your rota will be on a 6-week rotational basis, averaging 40 hours per week, including weekends. This allows you to work across all departments of the hospital, from consulting and surgery to ward and ECC.

The hospital is located in North East London but boasts quick and direct transport links to all areas of London. The area is known for its bustling café and restaurant culture, offering plenty of spots to unwind and enjoy a treat.
