Our client’s well-established veterinary practice, located in Cheshire, is seeking a caring and empathetic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Role Responsibilities:
As a Veterinary Surgeon within this practice, you will play a vital role in providing medical and surgical care to a diverse caseload of small animals. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting consultations, examinations, and diagnostic procedures.
Performing surgical procedures with precision and care.
Developing treatment plans and providing ongoing patient care.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and communication.
Providing expertise in emergency and critical care situations.
Undertaking advanced procedures including ultrasound, endoscopy, and orthopaedic surgeries.
Contributing to the growth and success of the practice through expertise and dedication.
Working Hours & Requirements:
This role is full-time, permanent, working a 4-day week with 2 in 9 weekends on a rota. Candidates will ideally be confident in performing all GP consultations and surgeries, work well as part of a dynamic team, and be happy working sole charge when required. You will have a passion for working within a not-for-profit environment and a commitment to providing exceptional care for your patients and clients. Additional skills in emergency and critical care are desirable.
Benefits:
Annual salary of £38,000 to £68,000 depending on experience
