This RCVS Accredited Hospital is based in Cheshire is now seeking an Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team.
This vibrant Cheshire town has plenty of parks, museums and attractions to see and explore and you can take a stroll along the beautiful river in your breaks. Being an hour from Manchester City centre and very close to Manchester airport this is an excellent location to live and work. Also close to Liverpool and direct trains to London also.
There is a clinical team of nine vets which consists of Advanced Practitioners in Anaesthesia, ECC and Medicine and are fully supported by an experienced and dedicated front of house team. They also have visiting Specialist vets in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology and Diagnostic imaging. This allows them to provide a fantastic standard of care to all their patients and the opportunity to care for interesting and challenging cases. Their fantastic nursing team of eight RVNs and three SVNs is led by a DipAVN and includes ECC certificate holders. They have a very friendly and inclusive team right across the practice with vets, nurses and reception staff all supporting each other - they are looking for the right candidates to maintain and enhance this.
The successful candidate will be a good team player, enthusiastic and motivated to provide a high-quality service to patients and clients. Ideally with at least one years of experience but less experienced candidates will also be considered as there is excellent support available from within this experienced and supportive team. The successful candidate will enjoy a four-day week plus two days off in lieu of working a weekend. The hospital's weekend and impatient rota is currently 1:8 and uses a dedicated out-of-hours provider for on-call.
