Step into a role that promises a blend of surgical engagement and exposure to a diverse range of cases, including a variety of exotics, at a proudly independent veterinary practice. This modern start-up, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, is dedicated to delivering outstanding, personalised client care with a commitment to fair and transparent pricing. The practice, which opened its doors in 2023, is the brainchild of two visionary vets who sought to challenge the corporate norm, fostering a family atmosphere and maintaining case consistency.
The practice is seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to enhance their small yet dynamic team. Ideally suited for an individual with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and grow and a completed VetGDP. This role offers the chance to work alongside a team member who holds a surgical certificate, ready to provide support and mentorship in this area and with the absence of sole charge responsibilities which ensures a collaborative environment, it is perfect for those looking to further hone their skills.
The clinical team, comprising 3 veterinary surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and 6 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), places a strong emphasis on the wellbeing and professional growth of each member.
In recognition of the invaluable contributions of the staff, the practice offers a competitive base salary for this full time, permanent role and a benefits package designed to support work-life balance and professional development, including a 4-day working week, 1 in 4 weekends, and no out-of-hours commitments.
Benefits:
• Annual salary of £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
• Professional membership fees paid
• On-site gym, swimming pool, spa and sports hall (membership paid for by the practice)
• No out-of-hours requirements
• Generous staff discount
• Annual CPD allowance
• Company pension
• Employee discount
• Free on-site parking
