Veterinary Surgeon - Hospital Consult only role/Visa Sponsorship

This role is to cover a fixed term 15 month maternity leave cover, and offers hands-on delivery of the best possible veterinary care, making it an ideal fit for both recently graduated vets and those seeking a new direction in their career.

Situated in the heart of a market town, the role is based at a state-of-the-art, RCVS Accredited Hospital, equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical tools. You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team, ensuring you have the guidance and mentorship needed to thrive. The hospital group environment provides a rich caseload, perfect for those with an interest.

The position is full-time, with a 40-hour workweek spread over four days, but a 5 day working week can also be considered. You will be covering consulting shifts across all branches and the hospital site, adding variety to your work routine.

The practice boasts a friendly and collaborative team of 13 Day Vets, 3 Night Vets, 18 Day Nurses, 3 Night Nurses, 3 Kennel Assistants, and 2 Lab Technicians, all committed to delivering outstanding care. The role comes with an attractive salary of £40,000 – £60,000 per annum, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including 6.6 weeks of paid holiday, a £1750 CPD allowance, health plan contributions, RCVS membership, VDS cover, enhanced family leave, discounted veterinary fees, and much more.
