A modern first opinion small animal practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to enrich their multicultural team across two thriving branches. Based a short drive from Birmingham City Centre so perfectly located with excellent transport links.
The practice boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to investing in new technologies, ensuring that the care provided is of the highest standard. With a variety of patients including dogs, cats, and small furries, the role promises a rich and varied caseload. Their branch, with its 2-vet, 3-nurse team, focuses on a range of procedures including dentistry and ultrasonography. Their main site operates as a 24-hour hospital, dealing with complex cases and a significant amount of ECC, led by a head vet with extensive experience in bull breeds and a passion for their welfare.
As a Veterinary Surgeon within this practice, one will enjoy a sensibly managed diary that respects personal time, with consults ending 30 minutes before the shift does, and dedicated time for case work-ups and client communication. The team of 6 Vets, 7 RVN/SVNs, and 2 kennel assistants work in harmony, fostering a supportive and efficient clinic atmosphere.
The role is for a 5-day work week (with options for 3 or 4 days), no out-of-hours requirements, and a 1:3 Saturday rota that may extend to 1:4.
