Veterinary Surgeon Wanted for an Advanced Small Animal Practice

A veterinary surgeon is sought to join a dedicated and dynamic team at a 2 Vet practice, fully equipped with advanced facilities. These include a surgical suite, dental x-ray, digital x-ray, new ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis. Access to Vets Now for overnight inpatient care ensures the delivery of exceptional care in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual committed to clinical excellence and building strong connections with clients and patients.

Responsibilities:
- Handle a mix of consults, operational shifts, and periods of sole charge
- Work with a wide range of challenging cases

About the Practice:
Based within an RCVS-Accredited Practice with extensive surgical, diagnostic, and medical facilities across six sites in the Kent/East Sussex area, the hospital is an RCVS-Accredited Hospital with Gold ISFM Accreditation. It provides emergency care 24/7 with VetsNow onsite, ensuring continuity in cases and patient care. The practice offers keyhole surgery, laser therapy, and acupuncture treatments. A full and experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) supports the practice, carrying out both nurse consults and vaccinations.

Facilities:
- In-house lab, ECG, Endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography
- Separate dental room with dental x-ray
- Separate client care area
- Digital radiography, doppler ultrasonography, laparoscopic equipment
- Video endoscope and bronchoscope

Team and Culture:
The experienced team holds a wealth of knowledge in surgery, radiography, anaesthesia, feline behaviour, and dentistry, with visiting referral ophthalmologists and feline medicine specialists.
