Veterinary Surgeon - Sponsorship Available/Exotics

Imagine working in a superb, spacious, purpose-built hospital equipped with six operating theatres, multiple consulting rooms, and separate wards for cats, dogs, and exotic animals. The facility also boasts an in-house laboratory and digital x-ray capabilities, ensuring you have the best tools at your disposal to provide top-notch patient care.

The team comprises 11 vets supported by over 20 qualified and experienced nurses, creating a collaborative and supportive environment. With a 4-day work week and a consistent day off, you’ll enjoy a balanced lifestyle. The out-of-hours rota is equally shared, currently standing at 1 in 8 weekends and approximately 1 night per week, ensuring you have ample time to recharge.

This role is ideal for vets with 1-4 years of experience, but the practice's robust support system also makes it suitable for recent graduates. The hospital's commitment to continuous professional development is evident, with caseloads, equipment, and support available for those pursuing further qualifications. The presence of an exotics diplomat and an experienced surgery certificate holder within the team provides an excellent learning environment.
