Veterinary Surgeon - Sponsorship Available/Exotics

Imagine working in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art veterinary practice that has been a cornerstone of this community for 75 years. This small animal and exotic practice is now looking for a confident and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This role offers a perfect blend of professional challenge and personal fulfilment, set in a historic market tow , just 25 minutes from the coast and a short 45-minute train ride to London.

The practice boasts five dedicated consulting rooms, a separate exotics ward, full x-ray and ultrasound facilities, three different types of endoscope, and a dedicated surgical theatre. The team consists of 12 experienced Vets and 13 skilled Nurses who work harmoniously, fostering a supportive and friendly environment. Each team member is valued for their unique skills and ideas, making this practice a truly enjoyable place to work.

Candidates should be confident with routine surgeries and consultations. While participation in the exotics caseload is not essential, it is an area that can be explored if it piques your interest. The practice is committed to encouraging further studies and professional development.

The role is full time permanent, working 4 day weeks, with 1 set day off every week. There are no out of hours expectations, just 1 in 6 Saturday Mornings only AND you will benefit from an additional Friday off every 6 weeks.
