Exceptional Vet Required for Hospital Emergency & Critical Care Role in South Wales

This hospital team are on the lookout for an outstanding veterinary surgeon to join their esteemed Emergency and Critical Care team covering a mix of Day and Twilight shifts. Valley Vets is a multi-disciplinary hospital that encourages collaboration between its first opinion and ECC teams. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner, advanced ultrasonography, endosurgery facilities, and dedicated ECC wards. This ensures that you have all the tools you need to provide the best care possible.

The Role:

As part of the ECC team, you will handle a varied and interesting caseload, supported by a large team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, and reception staff. The role involves providing out-of-hours care for around 40 local practices, covering a wide range of medical and surgical cases. You will work an average of 35.1 hours per week, with a mix of day and twilight shifts.
