Our client’s Glasgow based RCVS accredited Small Animal Hospital is looking for two motivated Registered Veterinary Nurses to join its expanding Out of Hours (OOH) team full time.
This fantastic opportunity offers nurses who thrive in fast-paced, state-of-the-art hospital environments an incredible chance to learn from top clinicians and gain invaluable experience across various specialties. You will work alongside dedicated vets, nurses, and care assistants, delivering excellent patient care and rotating through various areas such as Medical and Surgical wards, Intensive Care, Theatre, and Anaesthesia. You'll handle both referral and primary care in-patients and emergencies, allowing you to utilize and develop your full range of nursing skills.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 annually, with an additional 33% OOH shift allowance bringing your total potential earnings to £33,000 to £39,000. The role follows a compressed hours shift pattern, involving six shifts  every two weeks. This flexible shift pattern allows you to create the best fit for your lifestyle and work-life balance. While previous referral experience is beneficial, it is not essential as training will be provided. As an RVN in this role, you will benefit from 287 hours of annual leave, a generous annual CPD allowance, discounted veterinary fees and additional payment for working public holidays. Moreover, you'll enjoy excellent employer contributions to your pension scheme.

If you are eager to advance your career in a supportive and innovative environment, this position is perfect for you.
