Imagine working in a first opinion clinic that has been a cornerstone of the community for over four decades. This clinic is part of a larger group that includes a state-of-the-art referral hospital nearby. The referral hospital boasts advanced services in surgery, orthopaedics, imaging, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology, and cardiology, fully equipped with CT and MRI. The chance to gain caseload for certification within this team is readily available, making it an ideal setting for those seeking career progression.

The team is currently looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their first opinion practice. Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned clinician, this role is tailored to support your growth. If you have a specific interest you wish to develop, this is the perfect environment to do so. The role can be adapted to suit a consult-only vet or one with a surgical caseload, depending on your preferences and career aspirations. The first opinion practice is well-equipped for clinical work-ups and routine surgeries, but can also accommodate a consult-only vet.

You will be joining a dedicated team of 8 vets, 10 RVNs, and a robust support staff. The rota is designed to offer a balanced work-life schedule, with 40 hours spread over four days and one in six weekends, with no out-of-hours commitments. This rare role comes with numerous perks: allocated admin time, flexible working days, approachable in-house support, birthday lunches, CPD allowance, free in-house gym access, professional memberships paid, and a plethora of company events, including an all-expenses-paid Christmas party. The starting salary is a competitive £40,000 per annum.

Seize this chance to join a team where your career can truly flourish.
