Veterinary Surgeon - sponsorship available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of a welcoming and professional team in Derbyshire.

This well-established, modern practice is conveniently located, offering excellent transport links to Nottingham, Burton, and the Peak District. Recognised as both a Silver Level Rabbit Friendly Practice and an ICC Silver Standard Cat Friendly Clinic, the team is committed to providing high-quality, stress-free care for pets and their owners.

About the Practice:
The practice is led by an experienced veterinary professional and consists of two additional vets, five nurses, and three client care advisors. The team works collaboratively to ensure the highest standard of patient care while fostering a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

What They’re Looking For:
Applications are welcome from experienced vets and confident new graduates who:

- Possess strong small animal medical and surgical skills
- Are passionate about case work-ups and delivering excellent patient care
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive team environment
-Are comfortable with some sole charge responsibility (on occasion)

The Role & Benefits:
- Up to £65,000 salary (DOE, full-time equivalent)
- 40-hour work week (full-time) with a 4-day rota
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (no Sundays & no OOH)
- Generous CPD allowance with funding towards certificates
- Enhanced holiday package: Starting at 5.6 weeks, rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years
- RCVS, BVA, and VDS membership fees covered
