Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment?

This role offers you an exceptional chance to join a training practice that values your professional growth and provides a varied workload, including a full range of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. The practice actively encourages and supports Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and study towards certificates, ensuring that you can become the Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) you aspire to be.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in veterinary nursing, coupled with excellent customer service and communication skills. Being an effective team player and having the ability to use your own initiative when required are essential attributes. A friendly, down-to-earth demeanour, a genuine interest in animal welfare, and an enjoyment of the variety provided by clients and colleagues alike are highly valued. The practice supports team members interested in developing their skills, therefore an interest in Clinical Coaching or Supervising and supporting student nurses would be advantageous, though training will be provided if needed.

You will join an experienced and inclusive team comprising 4 RVNs and an SVN, where you will work alongside 3 Vets to form a brilliant clinical team. The practice ensures that its nurses can fulfil their clinical potential by providing robust support, including a team of 5 talented Receptionists led by an experienced Practice Manager, who streamline the client journey and free up the nurses to carry out their roles effectively.

This full-time role offers up to 39 hours per week, with no on-call duties or Sundays, with Saturdays covered on a rota basis (9am-1pm) to ensure fairness for everyone.

The practice itself boasts excellent facilities, including an operating theatre, 3 dedicated consult rooms, a large prep area, an x-ray room, and an isolation block with separate cat and dog kennels, providing all the equipment and space needed to care for patients.

In addition to receiving a competitive salary of up to £32,000 dependent on your experience, you will also be offered standard benefits such as a pension, healthcare, and paid professional memberships. Additional perks include excellent career progression opportunities, an extra day off for your birthday, and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts.
